Artists talk about Trance Energy + win tickets!
Artists: Trance.nu probably has the most melodic and uplifting stage at Trance Energy. We decided to ask some short questions to some of the Future Stage artists. Daniel Wanrooy, Dash Berlin and Ferry Tayle explain what we we can expect from them and how they will experience Trance Energy. Oh yeah, you can also win two tickets!! Details inside..
To celebrate our stage (and ofcourse to tease you to come visit us) we have asked three of "our" artists to talk about their upcoming Trance Energy performance. Enjoy!

How do you feel about playing on the Trance.nu stage?
Of course it's a really big honour to play on the Trance.nu stage. Trance Energy is the best trance event in the world and being part of it is amazing. I have been on several editions in the past as a visitor and it's so great! Altho I can't remember everything of the latest edition... but that was the vodka!
What kind of set can we expect from you?
I have finished a lot of new work and remixes lately. Most of the will be released just before or just after the event, and I will play them for sure. Of course I will try to surprise the people (in a good way) with some unreleased songs as well.
Any exclusive tracks coming up in your set?
Yeah, like I mentioned before, I will certainly play a few exclusive tracks and remixes. I am working on a track with a very familiar singer at the moment, I did a remix for Thrillseekers which will be released close to the event, and I signed new work at Spinnin', High Contrast and Black Hole. And who knows what else is coming up....
What was personally your best experience at previous Trance Energy;s?
Which performance has really inspired you?
I really liked all of the events I have been. There is not a really a performance who standed out for me to be honest, because it was all overwhelming with the introductions, the lasers, the lights, the cellphones, the hands in the air. I have never been disappointed with Trance Energy!
If people come and talk to me after the set I will.....?

How do you feel about playing on the Trance.nu future stage?
The Trance.nu community is a big one and always very up to date on all things Trance, so to be voted by them personally and to be featured on their very own stage at Trance Energy is a very big honor for me. I think it’s an important stage as well looking at the artists that are on the line up; I see it as the main stage of the future and definitely something not to be missed.
What kind of style can we expect that you will play during your performance?
I am going to play the records that I feel represent that unique ‘Trance Energy feeling’. But I can’t do it alone off course; the crowd is going to be a very important factor in the direction of my set.
Have you ever been on Trance Energy yourself? If yes, What was your favourite performance there by other artists?
Yes back in ‘99 or ’00 not sure exactly what year, but it was a magical night. I remember DJ Jean scratching records like crazy, which was cool to watch. I also remember Tiesto playing a memorable set. I had a great time.
Do you have any secret tracks or special tunes that we can expect from your set?
I got something special planned, so come see me at TE if you want to be the first to know! J
Do you have a message for the fans and people that will come and see you?

How do you feel about playing at the Trance.nu future stage?
I'm really excited to play there as it's a dream. Everyday since i knew i will play there, i thought about it. I'm working hard on specials tracks for this ! Trance Energy is the moment where a lot of clubbers are waiting for ! I were in a lot of trance energy as a clubber, & now thanks to the people, thanks to Trance.nu, thanks to ID&T i have the chance to play there now
Great! That was my next question: Are you preparing special tracks for Trance Energy? Can you tell us anything about?
I'm working a new version of Vol De Nuit which will be called Trance Energy Mix to open my set, i will show some exclusive tracks of my forthcoming album, and special rework i'm working on too to make something unique.
Sounds great! What kind of set can we expect from you?
I'm going to play very uplifting set with old & new tracks ! My goal is to tell a story to the people. Tracks will be my words ! But i want to surprise people too, even if i will play some old tracks !
Have you ever been to Trance Energy yourself?
Yes, i was at Trance Energy since 2004, i did them every year
it's a kind of pilgrimage for every trance fan. And for us in France, it's something special, cause we haven't this kind of event there !
What do you want to say to the visitors of the Trance.nu stage?
I will start to thank them in advance to visit us and i hope they will enjoy the Trance.nu stage. There are a lot of good DJs with a lot of differents style for every taste. And i can't wait to jump around with them
