Trance.nu re-introduces wiki.trance.nu
Updated: Friday 28th, March 2008
Trance.nu: After 6 months in the shop is the wiki finally ready to be re-launched again. See what's new and partake in the quest to build the worlds largests trance related encyclopedia'
Trance.nu introduced the wiki back in October 2005 and it soon rose to fame. Over 177 articles, 241 users and 7000+ pages was the key to the success. It contained everything from weird word abbreviations like omgtraffic [w] to massive and well-written articles like the one about Tijs Verwest [w].
Some databases was sadly lost during the server-transition back in November which rendered the site inworkable for some time. And since the release of v4 took all our development-time, we decided to leave it for the time being. But that's yesterdays new, today it's back - faster, bigger and stronger than ever!
The only requirement (to edit and add - viewing does not require registration) is that you sign up for an account (free) and that the simple rules of the wiki are to be followed. Naturally spam or vandalism is NOT allowed within the wiki, although we have a cleaning-team standing by if this situation should arise. Simply put, we do not moderate what you type in the wiki, we trust and believe that the community will contribute in good-faith, in order to improve the encyclopedia, not to ruin it.
We'd also like to take this opportunity to mention that our idea is not to build the trance.nu encyclopedia, but rather the trance encyclopedia. We're just hosting and maintaining the project, we want you - our visitors - to do the editorial parts.
So if you're an artist or maybe someone with a great deal of knowledge in trance - head over to the wiki and start contributing!
